Maintenance workers taking a break inside a covered shed at the Bovorenkovo Gas Exploration Camp. Everything here is under cover from early September until early May. The pace of life here seems slow and relaxed, but it is really the reaction to three months' of near constant darkness. Yamal Peninsula, West Siberia. February 1992.
