"Have you ever wondered what was it like to be on the 1978 US Sex Pistols Tour?!" Based on his cover story published in PUNK #14, “Shooting the Pistols” is a chronicle of John Holmstrom’s weird experiences on the Sex Pistols 1978 US Tour. The untold story, revealed for the first time, is the influence that High Times magazine founder Tom Forcade’s enormous influence on the tour (which resulted in the underground film “D.O.A.: A Rite of Passage.”) Holmstrom was caught in a war between Warner Brothers, who ran the tour, and Forcade, who wanted to take it over. So... Who won? You have to attend to find out.
