About the event
Marc Ribot (guitar) & Chad Taylor (drums) have worked together since the early 00s, first with the Albert Ayler-inspired project Spiritual Unity and continuing their trajectory as the Grimes-Taylor-Ribot Trio after the death of trumpet player Roy Campbell Jr, and until legendary bassist Henry Grimes’ failing health forced an end in 2018. Recently, Marc & Chad have forged ahead with their latest formation as Hurry Red Telephone.
For tonight's intimate performance, Marc & Chad will be joined by friends Briggan Krauss on alto sax and Kevin Ray on bass.
