Malin Carta, Michi & Mateö, and Chris Daly LIVE at Ki Smith Gallery

Malin Carta is a singer/songwriter, saxophonist, and woodwind doubler based in NYC. She takes inspiration from legendary songwriters Stevie Wonder, Carole King, and Judee Sill. Carta received her BM in Jazz Studies, Saxophone Performance from Western Connecticut State University where she studied under the direction of Dr. Jimmy Greene. She has performed as a bandleader and sidewoman in venues throughout the northeast, most notably playing lead alto with The Temptations at Nashua Center for the Performing Arts in June 2024. Her most recent album, Talk About A Dream, offers abstract landscapes, expressions of love, fear, and loss, and a surrender to the seemingly random unfolding of our journey.
