An experimental sound collage using various vocals some in Portuguese some in English some in fae. letter Z is made up of Zakiya from Oakland California by way of the equator. She has made music in the band silk web, composed music for Cannes series, a musical archivist In her spare time, dj and field recorder. She often Invites new people to participate, making each experience unique.
Lambkin
R&B/soul music, contemporary dance, and ecofuturism comprise Lamb's artistic vision: where the visceral meets the cerebral; where the natural enacts the synthetic.
The musician, composer, choreographer, and director explores Blackness as the break that might rupture our attachments to Worlds, territories, and Man.
Steeped in the aesthetic, conceptual, and political tradition of modern Black thinkers before her, Lamb's thesis is this: in a world wrought through violence, to salvage some beauty from it is to seek truth within it.
Myles Ortiz-Green
As an LA based musician and composer, and graduate from Tulane University in New Orleans, Myles Ortiz-Green has had the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and short films, collaborating with a wide range of artists in both the professional and academic fields.
In addition to various film projects, Myles has provided scores, sound design, and sound mixing for podcasts and commercials; engaging with different visual and auditory mediums.
