About the event

Haley Grey/Yve

Haley Grey is an emerging singer-songwriter based in New York City. Her voice carries a unique blend of influences from Neo-soul, folk and jazz. She has performed three years at the Havana International Jazz Festival in Cuba. Her music centers on spirituality, self love and ancestral folklore / Yves-Gérald Délice (Yve) is a composer, producer, and bassist studying for a Music Composition Ph.D. at NYU. Yve’s academic research is centered on intersections of music and emotion so as an artist, his mission is simply to make music with feeling.

Anjali Rose

Anjali Rose is a multi instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, and band leader who has claimed Western Massachusetts, Southern Spain, New Jersey, New York City and the road as her home. Anjali's music intentionally blends musical stylings from The United States and South Asian diaspora. Anjali has independently toured throughout Europe and North America and released two albums and one EP of which has been featured in publications such as The Deli, Philadelphia Globe, Various Small Flames, and more. Anjali also composes and records music for films such as “Gabriela” which was sponsored by Netflix and the LA Latino Film Festival and featured in various festivals such as Sundance. This project often includes many collaborators such as Noah Amick on Bass, Felix Ambach on drums, Maya Carney on vocals, Ajani Nanabuluku on keys and more.

Dani Murcia

Raised by Colombian parents in the eccentric and warm city of Miami, Dani Murcia has now expanded her artistry in the more sped up city of New York, all of which has helped shape her distinctive soundscape. After losing her father to alcoholism and suicide, Murcia has made it her goal to share her stories and innermost dialogues and offer an achingly honest perspective into the journey through grief, loss and love. With each song, Murcia creates unique worlds through lush harmonies and haunting melodies, in an attempt to stimulate curiosity and open conversation about topics often stigmatized. She explores these topics in her last album, "weight of the world", co-produced with Koa Ho. Together, they also form half of the collective Home Carried, with Elliott Skinner and canteenkilla. Murcia is currently on tour with Samora Pinderhughes.
