Ean Valte LIVE at Ki Smith Gallery

Ean Valte is a bassist, composer, and bandleader who creates music rooted in soul, flow, and deep listening. He aims to expand, uplift, and invite moments of catharsis for the musicians he plays with and the audiences he gathers. Over his career, he has performed with classic rock and folk icons including Peter, Paul and Mary and The Zombies, performed for three former presidents of the United States, and earned a BFA from The New School. His original music has been featured at iconic New York City venues such as Nublu, The Stone, and Carnegie Hall. As he pursues his Master’s Degree in Music Performance and Composition at The New School’s conservatory, he is an active and respected teacher, composer, and session musician, especially known for his jazz, Near Eastern, and progressive rock projects.
