C.M. Jenkins X Alex Gilbeaux

Renound contemporary pianist and musical composer C.M. Jenkins will be performing a live piano performance creating a sound-scape to accompany live dance by Natalie Archer and live art by Alex Gilbeaux. The art created in the space will be auctioned at the end of the night.

C.M. Jenkins is a pianist and music composer living in New York City. Christopher's debut album "First Movements Along A Curve" was released earlier this year in 2023, was recorded by Jeff Gruber at Blue House Productions in Silver Spring, Maryland, mixed by the legendary Don Zientara in Arlington, VA, and mastered by Jackson Wargo in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up outside of Annapolis, Maryland, Jenkins began music lessons at a very young age, and fell in love with composing during high school. Jenkins writes contemporary classical music, composes music for film and visual arts, and is influenced by the works of Philip Glass, Steve Reich, and Suzanne Ciani.

Based in Brooklyn, Alex Gilbeaux is an accomplished illustrator and animator whose creative journey seamlessly blends visual artistry and storytelling. With a prominent role as an editorial illustrator for ABC News Digital, Alex's ability to communicate through art is matched only by their passion for figure drawing. Beyond their professional pursuits, Alex curates and directs the transformative Sunday Sessions at ODR Studios, where the convergence of artistry and the human form creates an immersive experience that celebrates the intricacies of both. Alex's work goes beyond the surface, each stroke of the pen or brush resonating with an appreciation for the depth and emotion of their subjects.
